Our Story:

GT Images was established in 1995, on Melbourne’s city fringe, with a corner of a shared co-operative workspace serving for the company’s first office. As a 3D Architectural Visualisation and Photomontage artist, Greg Thomas had spent nine years working alongside some of Australia’s leading architects, developers and designers (including Harry Seidler and Denton Corker Marshall) on some of Australia’s most iconic builds (Melbourne Airport, Melbourne Museum, Docklands Stadium (currently Marvel Stadium), Darling Harbour and the restoration of the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney, to name a few). During this time, Greg observed a lack of 3D Imaging resources available to the real estate, development, and architectural design industries and a growing need for such services at cost-effective prices.

GT Images was Greg’s solution: by providing a full range of customised, integrated and expert 3D Visualisation services GT Images has enabled architects to see their designs as they would appear in their real-world environment, design consent authorities to gain a full and thorough understanding of project proposals, real estate professionals to sell designs off-the-plan, and developers to speak their clients’ language with high- quality marketing visuals.

The firm may have been small in the beginning, but Greg’s dream for the company was big: within five years, Greg’s team had significantly expanded, individual premises were acquired, and a second office was opened in Sydney to keep up with demand. Today GT Images is proud to deliver stunning 3D Visualisations and 3D Rendering to clients throughout Australia and around the world.
